The Mortirolo Pass Print

£25.00£45.00

Passo Del Mortirolo is one of the hardest cycling climbs there is, set high in the Italian Alps. It’s around 11.5km and averages nearly 11% to the 1,852m summit. The maximum gradient is 18%. The Mortirolo’s name derives from the Italian for ‘dead’ and its 32 torturous turns certainly make you long for the end. Mark Cavendish described it as the hardest climb he has ever done and when asked to describe it in two words, he gave it three – “steep, long and sick”!
